2. Website Use and Account Information
You do not necessarily need to create a traditional online account to use our website or purchase Services.

- Full name
- State in which an individual is incarcerated

You agree that information you provide is accurate, complete, and current. You further represent that you have the legal right or appropriate authorization to provide information concerning another individual.
3. Incarcerated Users and Correctional-Facility Restrictions
Certain A.I. Research Link Services may be used by incarcerated individuals, including individuals using an approved correctional-facility telephone system.
A.I. Research Link does not control the telephone systems, policies, schedules, security procedures, communication restrictions, approval requirements, or operating procedures of correctional facilities.
Access to the Services may depend upon whether a particular correctional facility permits calls to an A.I. Research Link telephone number or otherwise permits use of the Services. A.I. Research Link does not guarantee that every correctional facility will permit access to the Services.
We are not responsible for a correctional facility’s decision to:
- Block a call
- Restrict a call
- Monitor a call
- Record a call
- Delay a call
- Disconnect a call
- Limit the duration of a call
- Otherwise interfere with or restrict communications
Users are responsible for complying with all applicable correctional-facility rules, regulations, policies, and restrictions.
4. Payments and Prepaid Funding
A.I. Research Link may allow users to purchase prepaid funds that may be used toward eligible telephone or other Services. The website may offer specified funding amounts and may permit users to enter a different amount within limits established by the Company.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase:
- Payments may be processed through Stripe or another third-party payment processor selected by the Company
- Payment-card information is processed by the applicable payment processor
- A.I. Research Link does not intentionally store complete payment-card information on its own servers
- Minimum and maximum payment amounts may be changed by the Company
- Available prepaid balances may be reduced based upon use of eligible Services
- A.I. Research Link does not currently offer subscription-based Services unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase
Third-party payment processors may independently process payment-related information under their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Payment Authorization
By submitting a payment, you authorize A.I. Research Link and its applicable payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for the amount displayed before you complete the transaction.
You agree not to use a payment method without authorization from the owner of that payment method.
A.I. Research Link may refuse, cancel, suspend, or investigate transactions that appear to be fraudulent, unauthorized, unlawful, or inconsistent with these Terms.
6. Refunds and Unused Funds
Payments are generally intended to purchase prepaid Services. Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated by the Company, purchases are not automatically refundable after Services have been used.
If you believe that:
- A payment was made in error
- A payment was unauthorized
- You were charged incorrectly
- A technical problem affected purchased Services
you should contact A.I. Research Link promptly using the contact information provided below. The Company may review refund requests individually.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to eliminate or restrict any refund, cancellation, chargeback, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
7. AI-Generated Information
The Services use artificial intelligence to generate responses and assist users. AI-generated responses may contain:
- Errors
- Omissions
- Outdated information
- Misunderstandings
- Incomplete information
- Inaccurate statements
The AI assistant does not guarantee that information provided through the Services is complete, current, accurate, or suitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for independently verifying important information through reliable and appropriate sources.
8. No Legal Advice or Attorney-Client Relationship
Use of the Services does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and A.I. Research Link, its owners, employees, contractors, AI systems, or service providers.
AI-generated legal information may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inapplicable to a particular situation. Users should independently verify legal information and consult a licensed attorney or other qualified legal professional concerning their individual circumstances.
9. No Medical or Mental-Health Professional Services
The Services may include supportive or conversational interactions concerning personal matters, emotional well-being, coping, or general mental-health topics. These interactions are not a substitute for:
- A licensed physician
- Psychologist
- Psychiatrist
- Therapist
- Counselor
- Crisis professional
- Other qualified healthcare provider
A.I. Research Link does not diagnose, treat, or provide professional medical or mental-health care through the Services.
If you believe you are experiencing an emergency or a situation involving immediate danger, you should contact appropriate emergency services or a qualified professional rather than relying on the AI assistant.
10. General Information Disclaimer
The Services are intended primarily for informational, educational, research, drafting, and general-assistance purposes.
A.I. Research Link does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, timeliness, or usefulness of information generated through the Services. Information may change after it is provided.
You are responsible for evaluating information and determining whether additional research or professional advice is necessary.
11. Telephone Calls, AI Assistants, Recordings, and Transcripts
Our Services may involve AI-assisted or automated telephone conversations. When using the telephone Services, you acknowledge that you may communicate with an AI assistant rather than a human representative.
Depending on the Services being used, telephone conversations may be processed to:
- Provide the Services
- Generate responses
- Generate requested transcripts
- Maintain records
- Troubleshoot technical issues
- Improve functionality
- Support security and compliance
Telephone communications may also be subject to monitoring, recording, retention, disclosure, or other requirements imposed by correctional facilities, telecommunications providers, third-party service providers, or applicable law.
You should not provide information through the Services that you do not have the right to disclose. Additional information concerning personal information, recordings, transcripts, retention, and data practices is provided in our Privacy Policy.
12. SMS and Text Messaging Terms
12.1 SMS Services
A.I. Research Link may provide SMS/text messaging services in connection with the Services. Text messages may be used to provide:
- Information requested by the user
- Follow-up information relating to a telephone conversation
- Customer-service communications
- Appointment-related information, where applicable
- Information relating to a requested Service
- Links or additional information relevant to a user's request
- Other service-related communications
Message frequency may vary depending on your interactions with A.I. Research Link and the Services you request.
12.2 Verbal Consent Required to Receive Text Messages
Where permitted by applicable law, A.I. Research Link may obtain consent to send SMS/text messages verbally during an AI-assisted or other authorized telephone conversation.
The caller must be given an opportunity to either provide or decline consent. SMS consent is voluntary and is not required as a condition of purchasing, adding funds, accessing, or using unrelated Services.
The caller must provide a clear affirmative response, such as:
- “Yes”
- “I agree”
- Another response that clearly and unambiguously indicates the caller's consent to receive the applicable text message
If the caller does not provide a clear affirmative response, A.I. Research Link will not send the applicable SMS/text message. Before requesting consent, the caller may be informed of:
- The identity of A.I. Research Link as the sender
- The telephone number to which the message will be sent
- The purpose and subject matter of the message
- That message and data rates may apply
- That message frequency may vary
- That consent may be withdrawn at any time
- The available method for opting out of future SMS communications
The consent obtained applies only to the specific purpose and subject matter disclosed to the caller when consent is requested. Consent for one message subject or purpose does not automatically constitute consent for unrelated messages.
A.I. Research Link may maintain records of the consent interaction, including the telephone number, date, time, purpose of the communication, consent request, caller's affirmative response, and relevant call or transcript information, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
Such records may be retained for the period reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance with applicable law, telecommunications requirements, carrier requirements, and third-party messaging-provider requirements.
12.3 Verbal Consent Disclosure and Consent Script
When applicable, the A.I. Research Link AI assistant or authorized representative may use a verbal consent disclosure substantially similar to the following:
“This is A.I. Research Link. We would like to send the information you requested by text message to this phone number. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Would you like to receive this text message?”
The caller must then provide a clear affirmative verbal response. For purposes of the Company’s consent procedure, responses such as “Yes” or “I agree” constitute clear affirmative consent when they are given in direct response to the consent request and otherwise clearly indicate the caller’s agreement to receive the applicable text message.
The AI assistant or authorized representative must not treat silence, failure to respond, an unclear response, hesitation, or an ambiguous statement as consent. If the caller does not provide a clear affirmative response, the SMS/text message must not be sent.
Where technically feasible, the Company's messaging system may be configured so that the SMS function cannot be initiated unless the required affirmative consent has first been recorded.
12.4 Consent Is Limited to the Disclosed Purpose
Consent to receive service-related or informational text messages does not automatically constitute consent to receive unrelated marketing or promotional messages.
Consent is specific to A.I. Research Link as the sender and to the message subject or purpose disclosed when consent is obtained. If A.I. Research Link intends to send messages concerning a different subject matter or purpose for which separate consent is required, A.I. Research Link will obtain the applicable consent separately.
12.5 Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and service plan. You are responsible for any fees charged by your wireless carrier in connection with receiving SMS messages.
12.6 How to Opt Out
You may withdraw your consent to receive SMS messages at any time. Where reply functionality is available, you may opt out by replying STOP. You may also use other available standard opt-out keywords, including STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, CANCEL, END, REVOKE, or QUIT.
A.I. Research Link will process valid revocation requests in accordance with applicable law and applicable messaging-provider requirements. The opt-out process is intended to be straightforward and accessible.
After a valid opt-out, A.I. Research Link may send one final confirmation message acknowledging that the opt-out has been processed, where permitted by applicable requirements. After the opt-out has been processed, A.I. Research Link will not send additional messages through the applicable messaging program unless the caller subsequently provides the consent required to receive additional messages.
12.7 Help
For assistance concerning SMS communications, you may reply HELP when reply functionality is available or contact A.I. Research Link using the contact information provided below.
12.8 Re-Enrollment
If you previously opted out of SMS communications, you may be required to provide new consent before receiving additional messages. Where re-consent is required, A.I. Research Link will obtain the applicable consent before resuming SMS communications.
12.9 Telephone Number Responsibility
You represent that you are the account holder or authorized user of the telephone number you provide or confirm. If you change, transfer, or discontinue your telephone number, you should notify A.I. Research Link when appropriate so that communications are not inadvertently sent to another person.
12.10 Marketing and Promotional Communications
Marketing and promotional text messages may be subject to additional federal and state requirements and additional messaging-provider requirements.
Verbal consent obtained under this Section 12 is not intended to substitute for express written consent where express written consent is required. Consent for marketing communications may require separate and specific disclosures and will not be inferred solely from acceptance of these Terms.
